On this ANZAC Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women, both past and present, who have selflessly served and protected our country. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice have not only safeguarded our freedoms but have also inspired generations.

We honour your unwavering commitment and the profound impact you have made on our nation's history.

Today, we also remember the loyal horses that stood by your side, sharing in the hardships and triumphs. These noble animals played a crucial role, carrying supplies, pulling artillery, and providing companionship in the most challenging times.

We thank you and your steadfast equine partners for your extraordinary service and the enduring legacy of resilience and valour you have bestowed upon us.

Lest we forget.

In this last week of school holidays, head up the road to Kapunda and explore the town. Grab your Kapunda Cornish Pisky Trail pack from the Light Country Visitor Information Centre on the Main Street and find the piskies hiding throughout the town.

Take a walk around the Historic Kapunda Copper Mine on the 1.5km sealed trail or have the kids bring their bikes and race around the pump track next to the Mine Street carpark.

There is so much to do as a family! Check out the Kapunda Historical Society's museum that is located on Hill Street and see lots of relics from yesteryear. Check out the Lion's Playground on Hill Street an enclosed playground with different equipment for different ages.

Have a bite to eat from one of a number of our food outlets around town.
