The Karratha Visitor Centre is situated on the Pilbara Coast on De Witt Road. The region, is in Western Australia’s north, where the outback meets the ocean, featuring some of the country’s most awesome natural and man-made attractions. Go bush camping at Millstream-Chichester National Parks or walk the tidal flats at Hearson Cove. Or discover fascinating historical attractions, including some of the world’s oldest Aboriginal rock art.

The Karratha Tourism & Visitor Centre will be open all weekend, including Monday’s public holiday!

The City of Karratha Administration Building will be closed this Monday, 3 August for the public holiday.

- Bin collection will run as normal.
- Ranger services are available 24/7 for emergencies through our afterhours call centre on (08) 9186 8555.

The Millars Well Overflow is officially open!
You can book online or pop down and see us at the Visitor Centre.

The City of Karratha's Millars Well Overflow (MWO), located opposite the Kat's Club is now activated and operational. The MWO will be available to all visitors, including those travelling by caravan, motorhome, campervan, car or backpacking.

Visitors will have access to the Barry Goddard Pavilion bathrooms, which will be opened at set times each day by the onsite caretaker.

Standard sites are 12m x 8m, with a limited number of larger sites available for bigger rigs and set-ups at 20m x 10m.

Bookings can be made up to one week in advance for stays of up to three nights. All bookings require a permit to be displayed, which can be collected at the Karratha Tourism & Visitor Centre.
