What a morning in Kin Kin!

It was a big one today with the Great Noosa Trail Walkers camping overnight on the oval

The volunteers in this little community are next level. We had people helping out last night, then more people there bright and early this morning getting everything ready to go.

The Kin Kin Market is completely volunteer run and the money raised goes straight back into our local community, which makes mornings like this always special.

And that's why everyone loves this market it definitely brings a different vibe than any other market

A massive thank you to all of our volunteers, our stallholders, everyone who helped behind the scenes and, of course, everyone who came out and supported the market today.

And good luck to all the walkers heading off on the next part of the Great Noosa Trail Walk. We hope you loved your little Kin Kin stopover! 🤍

What a fabulous Father’s Day at Kin Kin Market☀️

We had a great mix of our regular stallholders, some new faces joining us and lots of locals and visitors coming along to support the market and our little Kin Kin community.

It was definitely a hot one, but that didn’t stop anyone from getting involved in our Father’s Day races

The potato sack races, egg & spoon relays and tug of war were loads of fun. Thank you to everyone who got involved and gave us a good laugh!

And a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our stallholders. We have some amazing small businesses at Kin Kin Market and it’s always so good to see everyone getting behind them.

And as always, a HUGE thank you to our volunteers who give up their time to make the market happen every single month. Kin Kin Market is what it is because of you

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads and father figures and thank you to everyone who spent part of their Sunday with us.

See you Sunday at the Kin Kin Market - a fun day out for everyone!

Truly authentic, naturally charismatic, and delightfully entertaining, Lawrence Menard (USA) and Clare Quinn (AUS) are the transpacific troubadours known as ‘Those Folk’ Those Folk that will be performing at our Father’s Day Spring Market this Sunday.

With Lawrence’s Cajun beginnings and Californian upbringing melding with Clare’s grounding in Australian folk music, their musical inspiration is diverse and ever expanding. Their worlds collided on the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2012 and the pair have been an inseparable duo ever since.

Vocal harmonies are featured alongside guitar, mandolin, banjo, accordion, harmonica, and percussion. Clare has an effervescence that is contagious and her vocal range is extraordinary. Lawrence is a talented multi-instrumentalist, with an intuitive musical ear.

Lawrence & Clare have been compared to the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings, and Johnny & June.

Those Folk make not just folk music, but music for all sorts of folk and we can’t wait to welcome them back to Kin Kin Market!

💚 The rain cleared and Kin Kin turned on the charm 💚

After a very wet night, the sun made a welcome appearance for our Art + Nature Market. It was great to see people out and about enjoying local art, handmade products, great food, live music and everything that makes the Kin Kin market so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our stallholders, local artists and makers. Whether you picked up something special, grabbed a bite to eat or simply had a wander around, thanks for spending your Sunday morning with us.

A big thank you to the incredibly talented Lee Hardisty for another fantastic morning of live music. It was the perfect soundtrack to the market.

And of course, thank you to our amazing volunteers. Every market happens because of people who generously give up their time each month We really do appreciate everything you do.

💚 THANK YOU, KIN KIN 💚

What a day!

Jammin’ in July Market certainly lived up to its name, with one of our busiest Kin Kin Markets yet. From the moment the gates opened, the village was buzzing with locals, visitors, great conversations, live music, delicious food and plenty of shopping.

Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Kin Kin. Every market is a reminder of what makes this little town so special. It’s more than just a market. It’s neighbours catching up, visitors discovering Kin Kin for the first time and a community that always shows up to support local.

One of the highlights of the day was our inaugural Australia’s Greatest Jam Competition. The standard was incredibly high, and judging wasn’t an easy job!

Of course, none of this happens without our incredible volunteers. Every marquee, sign, parking space, stall booking, social media post, cup of tea and smile is made possible by locals who generously give their time each month. They are the heart of this market.

To our stallholders, musicians, volunteers and everyone who came along… thank you for continuing to support this beautiful community.

We’ll see you all next month. Until then, keep supporting local, be kind to one another and enjoy everything this wonderful little corner of the world has to offer. ❤️
