This week, blind and low-vision travellers explored the Northern Rivers Rail Trail in the Tweed region as part of Cocky Guides’ first active itinerary in the area. In partnership with The Tweed Tourism Co, the initiative promoted accessible tourism and provided valuable feedback to local operators. The itinerary included sensory-friendly stops such as Husk Distillery, Tropical Fruit World and the Tweed Regional Gallery.

The Tweed Tourism Co., in partnership with Cocky Guides', plans to host future accessible tourism workshops and famil trips to support industry inclusion.
