Somersea House - Kangaroo Island Whale sightings during winter months. Guests can provide their own linen or hire linen for $15.00 per person per stay. Pets allowed by negotiation.

Somersea House is located on Howard Drive in Penneshaw Kangaroo Island and is a mere fifty metres from the shoreline.Sit on the front balcony and enjoy the spectacular sea views and a variety of marine life including dolphins,sea eagles,sea lions and seals. The house is a five minute walk to Christmas Cove boat ramp for fishing and boating and a ten minute walk or just a two minute drive to Penne

shaw's main street. There you will find cafes,the iconic 'Penny' Hotel,supermarket, ATM, post office,service station,ferry terminal and swimming beach. The house sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms,two with queen beds and en suite bathrooms.The third bedroom has two single beds, a porta cot is available on request. Somersea is set up for a comfortable stay for either couples or families with;a fully equipped kitchen and laundry,third toilet,TV,DVD,small sound system as well as gas heater. There are large sliding doors and windows with ceiling and pedestal fans that circulate the sea breezes throughout the house. The backyard is fully fenced with an area of lawn and an outdoor fish cleaning bench. Somersea House is an ideal home base for you to enjoy all that Kangaroo Island has to offer with it's ; spectacular coastline , unique wildlife , national parks ,light houses, beautiful swimming and fishing beaches, local foods, wine, arts ,crafts, rich maritime and local history why not make Kangaroo Island your next holiday destination?
