📢 Temporary Closure Notice – The Kodja Place

The Kodja Place will be closed from Saturday 7 March to Tuesday 10 March (inclusive) while some upgrade works are undertaken.

We look forward to welcoming visitors again once the improvements are complete.

Held at Kodja Place every Wednesday morning during term time! FREE!
There is also a comfy sofa, toy box, lots of books and a colouring station for all kids, ANY time..set up next to the Shop area at Kodja Place ✏️

Stop in any time, we're open 7 days! Enjoy a FREE Driver Reviver snack and cuppa ☕️ and take a much needed breather with the kids.

We are a breastfeeding friendly venue 🤱, have filtered water and a kettle on hand for bottles 🧑‍🍼 and have changing room facilities available too 👍

~Play Cafe Wednesdays~

Kristel and Nat will once again be running a term of FREE PlayCafe sessions which currently take place EVERY WEDNESDAY at Kodja Place.
Starting THIS WEEK on 4th February 🥳

These sessions are a casual drop in opportunity with no requirement to pre-book.

👶🏽 There's always a cosy area of discovery each Wednesday during term time, from 9.30-11.30am, with fun play stations for the babies & toddlers to enjoy!

Now we're in Bunuru season and the weather is mostly hot and dry, the inside areas at KP are a perfect spot to let your toddler or baby have a stretch or a play in the aircon to keep everyone cool 😉

Stick around after, meet friends for lunch at the Kojonup Black Cockatoo Cafe, explore the Rose Maze, let your toddler run around in the Jack Cox Courtyard or have a climb around a real School Bus and Ute in the Storyplace ;)

Looking for a place to slow down this long weekend?

Take the road less travelled to Lake Ewlyamartup, a peaceful stretch of water perfect for a gentle kayak, located within the Shire of Katanning.

Surrounded by open skies and alive with birdlife, this quiet lake invites you to linger. Paddle its calm shallows, settle in by the bird hide at the southern end, and watch the landscape unfold at its own pace.

Facilities are simple: drop toilets and BBQs are available, with overnight stays permitted for one night only. This is a pack in, pack out place - leave only footprints - part of what keeps it so beautifully untouched.

~Open Today, SUNDAY!~

Just to update our visitors and customers...
Due to so many of you being on the road today 🚗 🚕 🚗 We've opened up the doors post-Christmas a day early!

Staff will be on hand while it remains busy, to help out anyone who hops off at Kodja Place during their Albany Highway journey 😉

Don't forget we're a Driver Reviver stop, so pick up some free snacks and a cuppa! ☕️

Our Rose Maze is free and always open 🌹

Let the little ones run around in the Jack Cox Courtyard's grassed area; If you're into Geocaching come find a sneaky one in our grounds 😉;
Peruse the wonders of the Storyplace (featured in the post below)...enjoy our interactive Screen Stories, and learn some fascinating facts and history about our town!

The aircon is cranking in the Gift Shop, so if you need a last minute gift, a memento from your trip to the Great Southern or a locally made delicacy to enjoy on the road, pick it up here! 😋

We will likely close when the roads quieten down, so we're playing it by 👂 on closing time.

The Kojonup Black Cockatoo Cafe is also open until 3pm, please be patient with our staff, its a busy day out there on the roads! 🙏

If you're coming through Kojonup late afternoon, look out for Malay Fusion Hub at the Giant Wool Wagon, and grab dinner on your journey home! (From 3pm-8pm)
