Seeking local Musician/s

Hi everyone,

As you all know, the park will be hosting a "sleep in your car" fundraising event, alongside Decibel Disturbance car club, Saturday the 8th of August beginning at 5pm. 🚗😴

All money raised will go to Mission Australia, to aid in their support of the homless crisis facing our country. For too many Aussies, sleeping in their car every night has become their way of life.

We are seeking musician/s to play some mixed genre music for a mix of generations, ranging from small children through to the elderly, for a few hours during the event.

We want it to be a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that everyone will enjoy.

Since this is a community fundraising event, we are hoping to find someone local who might be available for an extremely reasonable rate, or possibly, even donate their time.🙏🙏

We thank Brendan Ritchie for donating to our team fundraiser for Mission Australia! Our sleep in your car event on August 8th keeps growing but it could always grow more!! We potentially could win guys with the right numbers! Just like Brendan please donate to our fundraising page or direct to the park and don't forget to register as a team member who is sleeping in their vehicle. Then you can raise money from your own sponsers still ultimately tallied under Decibel Disturbance teams total!! 🤩🤩

🚗 THE BIG SLEEP OUT 2026: DECIBEL DISTURBANCE CAR CLUB (SUPPORTED BY KORUMBURRA TOURIST PARK)

​One night in your car is a challenge. For too many, it’s a reality.

​Join Decibel Disturbance Car Club, proudly supported by Korumburra Tourist Park, and trade your bed for your back seat for just one night. We are raising vital funds for Mission Australia, roughing it for a crucial cause, and building some serious community spirit.

​⏱️ The Details

​Kick-off: Saturday, 8th August 2026, from 5:00 PM

​The Venue: Korumburra Tourist Park — 56 Bourke Street, Korumburra, Victoria 3950

​The Catch: No cabins. No tents. Just your vehicle.

​To fuel your night of "roughing it," we’re providing a light supper of homemade soup, bread, and a classic sausage sizzle. Survive the night, and you'll be rewarded with a hearty, well-earned breakfast in the morning.

​Lock It In: Register as an official sleeper with Decibel Disturbance Car Club (supported by Korumburra Tourist Park).

​Put Your Money Down: Make a minimum $10 donation through our fundraising page to secure your spot.
