There's a version of Antarctica that fits into ten days - and it doesn't cut a single corner. 🐧

Kayak past icebergs. Land where few ever set foot. Fall asleep to silence on the continent itself. This is Classic Antarctica: built for anyone who's dreamed about the White Continent but never found three weeks to spare.

Our next departure is closer than you think: 29 Nov - 08 Dec 2026. And spaces on expedition ships this small don't stay open long.

So… who actually owns Antarctica? 🌍❄️

The answer might surprise you: no one.

Antarctica doesn’t belong to any single country. While seven nations have made territorial claims to parts of the continent, the Antarctic Treaty - signed in 1959 - established Antarctica as a place dedicated to peace and scientific cooperation.

Today, dozens of countries work together under the Antarctic Treaty System, with territorial claims effectively held in their existing positions rather than Antarctica being divided up like other parts of the world.

No permanent population, n government, no single country in charge - just one extraordinary continent, protected through international cooperation. 🤍

Did you know Antarctica doesn’t belong to a country?

Would you spend a night camping on the Antarctic ice? 🏕️❄️

No hotel. No cabin. Just you and your sleeping bag, surrounded by nothing but ice and the silence of Antarctica.
Camping on the Antarctic Peninsula is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. On selected Terra Nova expeditions, it’s one of the activities you can experience as part of your journey.

🏕️ Good news: Our January 16th departure still has camping spots available - but spaces are limited!

An update from Terra Nova expedition. And some good news to share.

Over the past few weeks, Terra Nova has had to make a difficult decision and change our flagship vessel for the upcoming Antarctic seasons. Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, our flagship vessel, St Helena is unable to reposition from the Persian Gulf to South America safely and in time for the start of our inaugural season.

We know this is significant news, especially if you followed along our journey so far with St Helena, so we wanted to properly introduce you to what comes next.

Meet Terra Nova Adventurer: a proven polar expedition vessel with decades of experience in Antarctica and the Arctic, and one we’re genuinely excited to welcome into the Terra Nova fleet for our next Antarctic seasons.

Most importantly, our inaugural season is going ahead, and we can’t wait to explore the ice with her. All guests currently booked to travel with us have already been personally notified about the change earlier this week.

Instead of notifications, endless meetings, and staring at a screen...

Imagine waking up to glaciers glowing in the morning light, spotting whales from the deck, and exploring landscapes that have remained untouched for thousands of years.

No traffic. No office politics. No inbox.

Just fresh polar air, towering icebergs, and the kind of silence you never knew you needed.

Maybe the best „out of office“ really is Antarctica. ❄️🐋

Consider this your sign to go to Antarctica together. 🐧❄️

Some trips you take for the views. Others for the stories you’ll tell for years afterwards. Antarctica gives you both.
Towering icebergs, endless white landscapes, wildlife encounters and that feeling of being somewhere completely unlike anywhere else on Earth.

The only question left is: who are you taking with you? 👀

The best connection you’ll make in Antarctica isn’t Wi-Fi. 🌊

Somewhere between the endless horizon, the sound of the waves and the silence of the White Continent, you may find yourself reaching for your phone a little less.

Basic Wi-Fi is included on board, with optional upgrades available if you need more connectivity. But don’t be surprised if you hardly use it!

Antarctica has a way of slowing you down. Of reminding you to be present. To look up instead of down. Sometimes, the greatest luxury isn’t being connected. It’s giving yourself permission to disconnect.

Would you go offline for a journey like this? ❄️

AI could never.🤖

No matter how realistic it gets, it could never recreate the feeling of standing in Antarctica.

Towering glaciers, icebergs sculpted by time and mountains rising straight from the sea. Silence so complete you can hear the ice crack in the distance. This is one of the last truly untouched places on Earth, where nature still sets the pace and every landscape feels almost impossible to believe.

Some places don’t need filters, edits, or prompts.

Would Antarctica be on your bucket list? 🐧❄️
