Do not follow iphone mapping instructions in Tasmania and do not assume you can see all of the sights leaving Hobart in the morning and fly from Launceston that night. So So stressful and dangerous. Get yourself a cozy hotel the night before you fly out. Only experienced drivers are recommended to hire cars in Tasmania.
I should also note we have a lot of head on collisions involving interstate travelers because our roads can go from dual lane to one lane and you can't remember whether its a dual lane or a normal road!
One can only assume the itinerary was planned with little thought into all above.
