SPECIAL OFFERS SPECIAL OFFERS SPECIAL .....
I write this post during my last day of home quarantine for the second time in the last 8 weeks having spent some time in rural northern NSW. Whilst not experiencing the same very restrictive lock downs by many, especially in Victoria, I do now have a reasonable idea how frustrating and depressing it can be restricted to your home, especially if it is an apartment!
However, this post is some good news for those fortunate people that can put the virus out of their mind be it for a long weekend or an extended holiday/recreational getaway to our beautiful state. Most people, including ourselves have suffered financially and is why we have decided to offer some post-lockdown specials to entice you back. Too much information to write here, but enough to say that we have day tours and multi day Walking Holidays with discounts up to 25% off for a limited time. Please click on the link to go to our specials page. https://www.outdoortasmania.com.au/special-offers/
I have also included a few photos to wet your appetite!

Welcome back to Tasmania!
Outdoor Tasmania and its staff welcome visitors from interstate that are able to travel here on the opening of our border on the 26th October. (please check whether your State is eligible). So many things to do and see and if you want "Social distancing" then you will not need to go very far to get it in abundance!
Why not join one of our Day Tours, undertake a bush walk or join one of our walking holidays.

G’day folks,
Welcome back to Tasmania. As of 3pm on Friday 5th June Tasmania will have stage 2 restriction in place. In essence this means we can commence operating again. However, we are instigating our own measures to keep our guests and our drivers safe. Details of these measures will shortly be on our web site. Most National Parks are now open, but the Overland Track remains closed until the 15th June. Please visit the parks website at https://parks.tas.gov.au/ for detailed information.
From tomorrow we will again offer day tours on a limited basis ie we will tailor a day tour to fit the requirements but at this stage will not include Cradle Mountain due to the closed road into Dove Lake. We highly recommend the East Coast at this time of the year where most scenic spots are open.
Our bush-walkers transport will commence as from the 15th June, but all bush walkers to the Central Highlands, including Walls of Jerusalem, Arm River and the Overland Track need to be aware that you need to be an experienced walker under winter conditions to undertake overnight trips. Again the East Coast is the bush walking area of choice with mild weather conditions, deserted beaches and no crowds. Contact us for suggestions on walks. Maria Island, one of my favourite spots to introduce children to bush walking will be accessible from the 15th June. To see ferry operations go to their website. https://encountermaria.com.au/
Finally we have some Relief from Covid 19 specials available and will have the details on our website in the next few days.
Have a great long weekend. Paul Grigg
