November and February tours will be having a small trip on history The APT Steam train railway from the Strahan end
This railway was created to transport the ore from Queenstown to Strahan in the very early days to be shipped out no road transport was available
The Steam train is real history with narrow gauge railway line and the train uses a gear in the middle to pull its self up bigger gradients than a normal train can achieve which had to be achieved to get it through the hilly land scape and over the river
