She’s the one that they can’t control, diminish or water down.
She’s a fiery spirit with her own opinion, style and voice..
And she won’t be silenced or changed by the others who are uncomfortable with her brazen individuality.
She knows who she is because she has paid dearly to become the person she is.
She’s failed more times than she can remember, she’s made the worst choices and ended up in the wrong places more than she would’ve liked… but she always did her best to learn from each mistake and grow from every poor decision.
She doesn’t regret any of the love she’s given or any of the people she’s cared about, because she remembered that the people that were meant to be part of her life forever would always be there.. the rest were part of her journey to be the best person that she could be.
Sure, they still hurt, those lost friends and even love, sometimes- the heart can’t escape that…
But she knew that some pain was part of the growth process..
So that’s just what she did:
Kept living, loving and growing every day in every way and never looking back.
There wasn’t a challenge she wouldn’t tackle or a problem she couldn’t solve.
Oh, and those things they said she couldn’t do?
Those dreams they lamented that she’d never catch?
Those fears that they said she’d never conquer?
She would do it all with a smile and keep going…
And do even more than she once believed she could.
You could do many things to her,
But you’d never be able to stop her.
And she made sure that when she was gone, you’d never forget her-
The strong woman with a heart of gold and beautiful soul..
Now and for always she would be unforgettable..
And every bit of unstoppable.
