A big G'day to all, hope your Christmas and new years break was great.. Time to get back into the grind and start thinking about what we're going to do for our next lot of downtime, whenever that may be. If you enjoy spending time on the water, sightseeing, fishing or just exploring local areas and attractions, Lucinda and surrounding areas have their fair share to offer.. Wallaman falls, Australia's highest single drop waterfall, a great day out for the family. Hinchinbrook Island and adjacent channel offers a great day fishing with a chance of barra or mangrove jacks. Sightseeing with plenty to take in such as birds, crocs, dugong, snub fin dolphins and spectacular surrounding scenery.. You could spend a day swimming in one of the pristine pools on the island such as Zoe falls, coupled with lunch and a walk on the beach makes for a great day. A little further offshore are the islands consisting of Pelorus, Orpheus, Fantome, Curacoa and Palm Island, where you can explore beautiful beaches and rocky outcrops. There's also whale watching during the cooler months, or for the avid fishos why not get out to the reef and try your luck at ticking off a few species you've never caught before.. A big G'day to all, and hope you're all doin well.. Just thought I'd share some pics of a trip we did with Trevor, Angus and Colin a while ago. Had a great day, was one of those rare trips the sharks were distracted and we managed to get some to the top..lol Cheers guys, lookin forward to the next one.. 🍻

A mixed bag of Offshore and Estuary species were caught including Coral Trout, Red Throat Lipper, Queenies and Barra. The weather certainly turned it on for Murray, Ian, Grant and Peter. We were able to get the boys offshore for 2 days then inshore for 1. Look forward to catching up with you again soon.

A big G'day to all, hope the fishing has been good for ya and the sharks scarce.. Got out fishing with a few blokes recently, and as usual when you're with a bunch of mates, things get a little competitive.. I enjoy these days because there's nothing like a bit of ni**le with a few insults and embellished stories thrown in for good measure, always lots of laughs and these blokes didn't disappoint.. I think by days end when the boys were doing their team tallies, there was 3 times the amount of fish we actually had on board, not to mention the hundreds of fish that they had to release during the day, which all went towards determining the winner amongst them.. My ribs are still a little tender from laughing.. All in all at the end of the day, the boys took home a nice feed of trout, red throat and nannies for their efforts..

A big G'day to everyone, hope the fish are firing wherever you are.. We got out for a fish with Simmo and Jock recently, making the most of our weather windows, and they managed a nice feed with a few firsts.. We started a little slow, mainly due to a few sharks, but after some location changes we managed to give them the slip until nearly the end.. While we were enjoying the day, Simmo reckoned he'd never bagged a Spanish, we were watching a few swimming round, so swapped the bait for some lures and went for a troll.. Wasn't long and we had a double header, Jock landing a nice unit, unfortunately Simmo lost his.. We ended up doing another 4 laps, due to more lost fish, even dropping a huge golden trevally along the way, before Simmo got his first on board.. We were back to soaking the baits for a few trout and nice red throat, when the conversation came up on nannygai, turns out neither had caught one of those, so after a bit of a run, we managed to sort that problem as well.. Was a great day with great company and plenty of laughs, looking forward to the next trip with these characters.. Cheers fellas 🍻

Had a great couple of days with Luke, Genevieve and their boys Liam and Elliott. A lot of fun was had especially when all the boys wanted to catch was Mangrove Jacks........ Well they certainly did just that.....
