From Harrison’s Channel, the view extends,
Where Horse and Goat Island softly blend,
In springtime's light, with gentle gleam,
October's warmth, a vivid dream.

The Narrows stretch to the distant right,
As Mallacoota basks in light,
The lake reflects the sky’s embrace,
A tranquil, quiet, endless space.

The islands rest, serene and green,
A perfect springtime coastal scene,
Where water, sky, and earth unite,
In Mallacoota’s soft daylight.

Here nature hums, a peaceful sound,
As winds and waters move around,
In this October afternoon,
The season sings its gentle tune.

At Bastion Point, the afternoon’s glow,
The waves below in gentle flow,
The boat ramp rests, quiet and wide,
Where sea and lake meet side by side.

The turquoise waters kiss the sand,
A tranquil stretch, this peaceful land,
Mallacoota’s lake mouth gleams afar,
Beneath the sky, without a mar.

The car park’s empty, shadows grow,
As day prepares its final show,
The ocean’s hues of deep and bright,
Reflect the fading day’s soft light.

The distant islands, calm and still,
Breathe in the breeze, beyond the hill,
The scene so vast, so pure, so free,
A slice of endless serenity.

At 4 PM, the world’s at peace,
Nature’s wonders never cease,
From Bastion Point, the view unfurls,
A timeless dance of waves and swirls.
