Rideadv RideAdv run 2,3, and 7 day long motorcycle trail riding events throughout the year in the eastern sta Our Sweep riders and support vehicles are your backstop.

Ride-ADV is a professionally run and supported Navigation ride series born out of the need for Dual Sport and ADV riders to have locally organised two, three and longer multi day rides, where all the planning and organisation has been done for the rider. Some of the best adventure trail riding on the East Coast of Australia has now been ridden, plotted and mapped by our Trail Boss, Greg Yager and

his Ride-ADV team; stitching sections of broken trail into exciting and exhilarating rides for our customers. Dual Sport or “ADV” bikes come in all sizes from an adventure prepared 250cc trailbikes to a big twin 1200cc motorcycle with off road tyres and riders come with all levels of experience as well. With some ADV riders coming from a dirt and trail background while others come from a road or track riding background, no matter what size of bike you prefer to ride and what level of experience you have, our ride series is designed to support you in your quest to get the most adventure out of your setup. Our fully supported rides allow you to experience and access some of Australia’s most exciting and remote trails and unpaved roads in a safer environment. Each ride is meticulously planned and pre run and then plotted to a GPS route for the customer to navigate with friends. During the ride, lead riders’ head out and check the trail and mark obvious dangers. A sweep crew follows the field and assists any riders having difficulty. The rides are also supported with 4X4 vehicles with trailers to pick up any bikes that cannot finish the ride. You know that you are riding with friends and have a professional team with you on the trail. This can often make the difference of enjoying and completing a route or giving up when it all goes pear shaped. Great Value and Support

Trail Boss Greg Yager and the Ride-ADV team often spend days pre running each ride. For every kilometer you ride on a route, the team have ridden ten or more to get the perfect ride sorted for you. On each Ride-ADV ride you have at least two ‘Zero’ or Lead riders and four ‘Sweep’ riders (two for each route). On most rides we also have at least two support vehicles with trailers to assist the sweeps and rescue bikes (and riders) that for whatever reason cannot finish the days route. On any normal ride with mates, when a bike or rider is down, the ride is often over for the group. The Ride-ADV rides are planned and designed to keep you going even if one or more riders drop out. The routes are often broken up into sections and at the end of each section you should find the support vehicles waiting for you, so even if you are ahead of the sweeps, you can get any trail support you need. If you need our support vehicles to carry fuel, this can also be arranged too. Our Sweep and support vehicles are there to get every bike and rider back on the trail or at least recovered to a location where you can get yourself home. Our rides are very sensibly and reasonably priced to give you the best experience with the minimum worry. The rides are fairly priced, excluding fuel, meals and accommodation. Maps and routes are loaded prior to the ride commencing, usually the night before at the riders briefing. With ongoing support from Yamaha Australia, Adventure Moto, Camel ADV Products, Pirelli, Polisport, Link International, Funnel Web Filters, Rival Ink, Teknik Motorsport and Gall Bros Medical the Ride-ADV series has now been running since 2013 and rides are planned throughout 2023, 2024 and into the future.

TUESDAY NIGHT LIVE IS BACK! 🔥

But there’s one big change, we’re moving to YouTube Live.

This Tuesday at 7PM, don’t look for us on Facebook. Head over to the RideADV YouTube channel and join us LIVE.

This week it’s all about the 2026 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raids.

We’ve had the new World Raids for a couple of weeks now, so it’s time to get into what we’ve learned so far — what’s different, what we like, what we’re changing and, importantly, what we’re doing differently with these builds compared to our previous World Raids.

We’ll run through the bikes, the builds, what we know so far and some of the differences we can finally start talking about.

Got questions about the new World Raid? Jump on live and ask us.

DAY 3 | BRIDGE TO BRIDGE 2026 PRE-RUN 🤘
Mildura ➡️ Menindee.

A big, wide-open day in western NSW. Long dirt roads, huge skies and plenty of water still lying around after all the recent rain.

The day wasn’t without its challenges either there are still some seriously wet sections out here, and conditions can change pretty bloody quickly.

That’s exactly why we pre-run these routes. Every kilometre gets checked so when the 2026 Yamaha Bridge to Bridge rolls out, we know exactly what we’re taking everyone into.

That wraps up this section of the pre-run for now. We’ll be back out here closer to the event to finish off the remaining sections and make the final calls on the route.

A big thanks to Dunlop for making sure we had the right tyres underneath us for all the kilometres and conditions we’ve thrown at these bikes over the last few weeks.

TB’s also looking forward to getting back to the RideADV workshop and getting stuck into the new Ténéré 700 World Raids sitting in the shed waiting to be finished off and put to work.

And thanks to Teknik Motorsport, who have already completed all the checking, testing and measuring on TB’s World Raid and have now sprung it to suit his portly athletic size. 😂 Time to get it built and start putting some proper kilometres on it.

BRIDGE TO BRIDGE 2026 | PRE-RUN – DAY 2 🔥

Finally, some fine weather and what a day to get it.

Today’s pre-run took us through Murray-Sunset National Park and out through the desert country towards Mildura. It is absolutely unreal out there at the moment and it’s ridiculously green, plenty of water still lying around and some seriously good riding.

Big day on the bikes, but well worth every km. The boys had an absolute cracker.

We also dropped into Mallee Motorcycles along the way. We use their Adventure Extensions on our Steg Pegz, so it was good to drop in and have a yarn and see what they’ve been up to before continuing on to Mildura for the night.

This is exactly why we pre-run these events. You can look at a map all you like nothing replaces getting out there and riding it.

🎥 Two minutes from Day 2. Turn it up and have a look, this one’s worth watching. Bridge to Bridge 2026. It’s going to be a bloody good one.

DAY 16 | DAY 1 – 2026 BRIDGE TO BRIDGE FINAL PRE-RUN 🏍️

The common theme of this trip is still going strong… RAIN. 🌧️

The day began wet in Adelaide, with TB making his way out to meet the others in the Adelaide Hills. Just 32km in, we hit the dirt and from there, the pre-run was officially underway.

What followed was an epic day of unbelievably good mulga country-style tracks and stunning country that’s set to make the 2026 Bridge to Bridge something seriously special. But the real theme of the day? Wet. Wet. Wet. 😂

If you’re part of the crew joining the sold-out 2026 Bridge to Bridge this November, watch the video and get excited. If you’re not coming… watch it anyway and wish you were. 😎
Day 1 done. Plenty more adventure to come.

With TB still away, his new Ténéré 700 World Raid has gone straight to Teknik Motorsport.
Before changing anything, the guys are dyno testing the forks and shock to establish a baseline and compare the new World Raid with the previous World Raid and Gen 1 & Gen 2 Ténérés.
They’ll spring it for TB’s portly athletic size 😂, then it’s time to get some proper kilometres on it and see what it really needs.
There’s a bit more to testing and developing a bike than riding it around the block and declaring it the best bike ever. 😉

With TB still away, it was the perfect opportunity to send his new 2026 Ténéré 700 World Raid straight down to Teknik Motorsport.

There’s a reason Teknik is regarded as one of Australia’s premier adventure suspension shops. They don’t just fit parts in the workshop, they design, fabricate, manufacture, dyno test and develop suspension components and kits, with their products supplied to other tuners throughout the industry.

At this stage, nothing is being changed internally. The first job is to establish a proper baseline.

The guys will dyno the forks and shock, graph exactly what the new World Raid suspension is doing, and compare it with the previous World Raid as well as the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Ténéré 700s. That gives them real data to understand exactly where Yamaha has taken the new bike and where development might go from here for different riders requirements.

They’ll spring TB’s bike appropriately for his portly athletic size 😂, Lincoln’s needs a rear spring and Josh’s needs front springs and a rear spring. Mal will deliver it back to the boys as the builds are completed and we start putting some proper kilometres on these new bikes.

This is how development should start measure it, understand it, ride it, then make changes if they’re actually needed. There’s a bit more to properly testing and developing a bike than riding it around the block and declaring it the best bike ever. 😉

Who else has started their 2026 World Raid journey?
