Several key sites in the South West are expected to close over the long weekend, including the Giants Cave, Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree, Tree Top Walk, and a number of campsites and access roads.

Parks, trails, attractions and campgrounds in the Midwest, South West and Perth metropolitan area and down to the south coast may close at short notice due to extreme weather or safety concerns.

If you’re heading to WA’s south-western coastline this long weekend, please take extra care and stay informed.

🌊 Dangerous coastal conditions are expected, including large swells and tidal surges that can quickly inundate beaches and low-lying areas and rock platforms.

💨 Very strong winds may bring down trees and branches, making walking tracks and campgrounds hazardous.

🌧️ Heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding, especially in gorges, river crossings and low-lying areas.

Your safety is your responsibility – if conditions look unsafe, be prepared to change your plans or reconsider your visit.

We're thrilled to bring a regular fortnightly farmers market to Manjimup, showcasing the incredible fresh produce, artisan foods, locally made products, and talented growers and makers from across our region.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already expressed interest in becoming a stallholder. The response from our community has been fantastic!

While the Manjimup 15,000 may not roar into action this year, its spirit is far from lost. This 1-hour documentary captures the heart, adrenaline and legacy of one of Australia’s most iconic motocross events — from the thunder of bikes tearing through the track, to the passionate community and riders who made it legendary.

Through powerful footage, rich local history, and firsthand stories, it’s a rare chance to relive the moments that defined an era.

Step back in time and experience the energy, grit and excitement that put Manjimup on the motocross map.
