Whenever there's a fire ban, National parks are closed. But not being able to get out, doesn't mean you can't photograph their impact.

This is from my back steps at home, I ended up with all doors and windows closed, but still this beautiful red light from the sunrise + smoky haze blazed through the house.

FIRST WALK DONE ! I am so blessed and happy to be offering these workshops. We had such a great time today, wandering the foreshore of the Spit and through the bushwalk tracks of Beauty Point.
This great shot by Mandy shows exactly what I was hoping to offer : a special, and spontaneous moment that presents an ability to teach photography skills. This tiny red spider walked across our path, and it gave me an opportunity to talk about macro and contrast against the green leaf. Can't wait for my next walks !
