Mansfield Lantern Festival ✨

Looking for a little winter magic? The Mansfield Lantern Festival returns from 19–21 June 2026, bringing a weekend of light, colour and celebration to the heart of Mansfield.

🔥 Friday
Opening Ceremony, lantern-making workshops and special Winter Solstice menus across town.

🏮 Saturday
The main festival event featuring the Lantern Parade, street performers, live music, food and drink, and open fires.

🧘 Sunday
Start the day with a Winter Solstice yoga and pilates session.

With glowing lanterns, crackling fires and a wonderful community atmosphere, it’s one of the prettiest winter events in Victoria’s High Country and a fantastic weekend out for the whole family.

❄️ Winter is here! ❄️
We're looking forward to snow days in the mountains, fire-warmed evenings, twinkling lights, and all the magic that winter brings to Victoria's High Country.

From the glow of lanterns at the Lantern Festival to the warmth of fires and the celebration of the Winter Solstice at Mt Stirling, there's plenty to look forward to this season.

Ski, snowboard and snowplay on , snowshoe and camp up , enjoy the and Mt Stirling Solstice events. Dine and brunch in Mansfield and enjoy great flavours and country hospitality.

Mansfield Botanic Parkrun is on every Saturday at 8am!

Come together to walk, jog or run the 5km course in the beautiful Mansfield Botanic Park. It’s a free, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities, and a wonderful way to start the weekend.

No registration required, just turn up and enjoy!
