Sadly it’s time to say goodbye. YWAM Margaret River is being layed down/ surrendered, let go. It’s been an emotional few days seeing people again. This account will remain in case someone else picks up the vision yet I will not monitor it. Feel free to contact me .
We love this place and know we have an inheritance here in some way. 18 years ago we came for the first time and right from the beginning, God was on the move. Fast forward, our visa was denied for Australia and we left in July 2019. It’s not been possible till now to come back and get closure. It’s a step of obedience that’s not been easy but necessary. There are so many beautiful people in this region that we have loved doing life with. So many lives transformed in this place through discipleship. The memories are not lost. I remember it all so clearly and every persons name. Truly something special about the Southwest of Australia and I’m still believing revival will come to Australia once the indigenous return to Margaret River. Holy Spirit break out!

Been a while, many wondering and asking what's happening, don't we are asking too. We are waiting to get back in the country before we make any further announcements.

Meanwhile, I continue to keep up to date with news and happenings and I'm particularly heartbroken and stirred to action by the recent loss of the life of Jack Macaulay. I wish I could be present for the service and paddle out today. I'm sorry for your loss Macaulay family. My prayers are with you all as you mourn, grieve and celebrate his life.

I dont know Jack well enough to make this next connection but I'm stirred I've taken an interest in learning more about mental health.
We need to have a more open mindset to these realities and the social pressures that drive us to do what we do. I'm learning and open and want to make these conversations more normal. We all are just trying to make sense of the world going on around us. Things we agree with or not should not separate us or cause us to feel isolated or alone. We are all one people, let's look after each other with care, love, honour and respect.

Let's take a moment to think of someone we can intentionally reach out to, be available to or follow up with.
