With recent light rains , light E/NE winds temp 23c and a slight swell made for a perfect road trip into Black Point .
Even the Red swamp banksias put on a majestic display all the way to the Basalt formations on the coast .
May is the sweet spot before winter sets in ..
Came in via the Nannup summer track end and came out the winter Millyeanup track back to Margaret River.
Both tracks traverse the stunning swamp plains and the old growth Jarrah and Marri forests ..
Truly gods country ..

First post for the year..Missed all summer and starting to see clearly again with new eyes .
It's taken a while but I'm seeing Mother Nature in a new light and had forgotten how beautiful our Autumn is.
I've managed to spot the first orchids for the season and although shooting blind I managed a couple semi sharp shots of the Leafless and the intricate Hare orchid ..with the help of my trusty hat .
The morning Autumn light is a beautiful time of year and April gives us a very short window of that special time .
Back touring again and encouraging my guests to take advantage of my early starts.
So here we go again ..
