It is with deep sadness Lynne and I have learnt of the passing of Leslie ‘Bunny’ Glover, former Sandakan prisoner of war.

In 2015, we stood together in remembrance of the triumphant spirit of those Aussie POWs 70 years ago.

Today, we remember Bunny, alongside all those who faced imprisonment and hardship with stoicism, courage and particularly in Bunny’s case, good humour.

On Friday the 13th of October Wayne Wetherall and his team embark on a journey to Base Camp Everest all in aid of the Mark Hughes Foundation.

Joining Wayne will one some of rugby leagues greatest legends to help raise money for the Mark Hughes Foundation.
