There’s been plenty of chatter about fuel supply & road access across the state this week, so we wanted to share a quick update from Parachilna.

We’ve spoken with our friends in Burra, Clare, Hawker & Leigh Creek, and there are currently no foreseeable fuel supply issues across the region 🥳 remember, EV charging stations are now also readily available on this route.

In more good news, road conditions have also improved significantly following the recent rain. The Prairie is once again easily accessible via sealed roads, making a trip north very much possible! The gorge tracks within the Flinders Ranges remain temporarily closed due to significant damage - however, the Outback Highway has been opened to 4WD all the way to Marree, in addition to the Oodnadatta Track to William Creek.

As always, we recommend travellers keep an eye on road conditions via the DIT Outback Road Warnings website, as conditions can change quickly after rain.

The Flinders Ranges & outback are looking incredible after the recent weather - rolling green, trickling creeks & LOTS of birdlife on Lake Eyre!
