Enjoy sweeping coastal views on the easy 1.1 km Witton Bluff Base Trail, linking Christies Beach and Port Noarlunga. 🌊☀️

Start at Christies Beach, then wander down Beach Road for small bars, casual eats, street art and that laid-back mix of holiday vibes, urban grit and coastal cool.

Finish at Port Noarlunga, where the river meets the reef and there’s plenty to explore — from jetty strolls and bold bites to boutique finds and relaxed seaside charm.

It’s an easy walk with plenty of reasons to linger at both ends.

When visitors ask us how to spend a perfect winter Saturday, this is exactly what we’d tell them.

Start your morning at . From there head to to stock up on fresh produce, local cheese and flowers. Take your time wandering through Willunga’s mainstreet, it has serious charm and there’s always a buzz Saturday morning.

Then it’s time to earn your afternoon, hop on a bike and ride the trail to Aldinga. The Temperance Precinct has some great shops, and there are plenty of eating options in Aldinga too. Then it’s off to Pt Willunga beach, it’s stunning whatever the weather.

Ride back and finish your day the right way with a cold beverage in Willunga.

This is just one of our team’s favourite way to spend a Saturday, we’ve got plenty more to share.

If you’re a local and think we’ve missed something in Willunga or Aldinga, drop it in the comments.

Winter has arrived and we can’t be more excited. Winter means roaring fires, hearty feasts, delicious wines and warming spirits.

It’s also the best time to get rugged up and explore the trails. That’s exactly what we were doing this morning, walking the Shiraz Trail, McLaren Vale.

The contrast of the moody sky and yellow of the vines was too pretty not to capture.

Aldinga is more than a stunning beach. And it’s more than that place where your grandparents had a beach shack, although yes, there are still plenty of those too.

These days, Aldinga has an energy all of its own.
Think seriously good coffee, bakeries worth the drive, cosy cafés, seafood, Asian fusion, pub classics, cellar doors, breweries, a wine bar, live music, local shopping, beach sunsets, fish and chips by the water and even an airfield.

It’s coastal, creative, a little unexpected and full of local character.

So, where to first?

A big congratulations to in Aldinga on their success at the Australian International Beer Awards.

And while the beer is worthy, it’s not the only reason to visit. The burgers, loaded fries and easygoing atmosphere, make for a relaxed afternoon.

If you need more reasons to head to McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast for your craft beer fix, there’s plenty of other breweries to check out close by in Willunga, McLaren Vale, McLaren Flat and Lonsdale.

There’s plenty of reasons to raise a glass or two here!
