🚨🇦🇺 BREAKING: Major Changes Announced to Australia’s Migration System

Australia has announced a major new round of migration reforms affecting international students, graduates, visitors, skilled migrants and working holiday makers.

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke outlined the reforms under the theme: “Who arrives, who stays, who leaves?”

🔴 Key changes include:

🎓 Tighter rules on student visa hopping and moving to lower-level courses
👨‍👩‍👧 New restrictions on 500 and 485 visa dependants
✈️ No Further Stay conditions for future visitor visas
🛠️ Greater priority for skilled workers in healthcare, construction, education, resources and agriculture
🎒 Changes to second and third-year Working Holiday visas
🔍 Stronger action on visa overstayers and non-compliant migration agents
