And just like that, our incredible Asian adventure comes to an end ✨🇻🇳🇮🇩

Our final Bali stops were beautiful Manggis and bustling Seminyak, two completely different sides of the island, and both equally memorable.

In Manggis, on Bali’s mid-east coast, we experienced a slower pace of life and a glimpse into rural Balinese culture. Staying at the magnificent Alila Manggis, we spent our days snorkelling the stunning Blue Lagoon, wandering the waterfront, relaxing beneath the palms and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere 🌴☀️

Then it was onto Seminyak, where the energy shifted completely! The resort was enormous, the beach was beautiful, and the streets were buzzing with life. Think sunsets, shopping, beach walks, beeping scooters, vibrant restaurants and people everywhere 🌅🛵

We finished our trip with a little pampering, some last-minute shopping, and a spectacular sunset dinner cruise to celebrate both my birthday and the conclusion of this epic family adventure 🥂🎂✨

From the bustling streets of Vietnam to the jungles, temples and beaches of Bali, we’ve made memories that will stay with us forever ❤️

After Vietnam, we’ve now settled into beautiful Bali for a while… but not your typical tourist areas. We’ve ventured a little further afield to experience what Bali REALLY has to offer 🌴✨

Our journey began in Uluwatu, staying at the absolutely breathtaking Alila Uluwatu. The scenery here was nothing short of spectacular 🙌🏼

We ventured out to the famous Uluwatu Temple for sunset, explored the temple grounds, encountered the cheeky monkeys 🐒 and watched the traditional Kecak Dance & fire show… strange, fascinating and unlike anything we’ve seen before 🔥

On our way to Ubud, we stopped at a local coffee plantation to learn all about the famous Kopi Luwak coffee and how it’s processed ☕️ followed by a coffee tasting overlooking the stunning rice fields.

Arriving in Ubud felt like entering another world 🌿 The monkeys were there to greet us immediately, swinging wildly through the trees surrounding our villa. Add squirrels, bats and jungle sounds all night long… honestly it felt like staying in a jungle zoo 😂

One of our biggest highlights so far was celebrating Leo’s 9th birthday with a Silver Jewellery Making Class ✨ We spent a few hours learning about silver, how it’s processed, and then created our very own rings to take home. We were all SO proud of what we made — such a special memory we’ll cherish forever 💜

We finished the day at Tlaga Singha Infinity Pool for lunch and a swim overlooking the jungle. Such an incredible atmosphere with stunning views and a relaxed fun vibe 🌴🍹

Third & final stop in Vietnam… the magnificent ✨Hanoi✨ 🇻🇳🙌🏼

I absolutely LOVE this city, and was so excited to be back again… but even more special getting to experience it with my family this time 💜

A huge thank you to our beautiful friend Ms Ha, from for putting together such an incredible trip for us — and for coming to say hi while we were in Hanoi 🥰 So lovely to see you again! 

We explored the city by jeep tour, weaving through the bustling backstreets and hidden alleys, visiting the iconic Long Bien Bridge and stopping for coffee at the famous ‘Train Street’ while waiting for the train to squeeze past 🚂☕️

We visited the Vietnam Military History Museum and learned more about the Vietnam War, which was incredibly fascinating and moving.

Our stay at La Siesta was amazing — we felt so well looked after, and somehow seemed to have the pool to ourselves every time 🙌🏼

The food in Hanoi is next level 👌🏼We’ve been wining & dining at incredible restaurants, shopping the night markets, wandering the busy streets and soaking up everything this vibrant city has to offer.

Hot, steamy, chaotic, exciting and SO much fun… Hanoi really is one awesome city ❤️

Second stop on our Asian adventure… beautiful ✨Hoi An✨ 🇻🇳🏮

We’ve been staying at the gorgeous Allegro Hoi An - A Little Luxury Hotel & Spa and honestly… this place feels like pure magic 💛

The last few days have been filled with colourful lanterns, riverside strolls, amazing food, ancient streets and the kind of atmosphere that makes you never want to leave 🙌🏼

One of the absolute highlights was our EPIC Vespa adventure with Hoi An Backroad Tours, booked through Wide Eyed Tours 🛵🌾We explored villages, riverside roads and rice fields, saw silk worms at work and how beautiful fabrics are made… and yes, there was even the option to ride the family buffalo 🐃🤣

We’ve floated through the coconut forest in bamboo basket boats, wandered the lantern-lit streets at night, and drifted along the river soaking up the dreamy atmosphere ✨🏮

Today was something completely different… a visit to Hot Spring Park 😂 Think dinosaurs + mineral hot springs + waterslides all in one place. Random, weird and surprisingly fun!

First stop on our Asian Adventure: ✨Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam✨ and what an incredible first day with the family! 🇻🇳❤️

Today we explored the beautiful Mekong Delta with Saigon River Cruises, booked through Wide Eyed Tours — and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish.

Yes, it was HOT 🥵… but absolutely worth it! We visited a local wet market, cruised along the Saigon & Mekong Rivers, learned all about coconuts and the many things they make from them 🥥, enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony at a honey bee farm 🍯🐝, and tasted the famous Mekong Delta specialty — Elephant Ear Fish for lunch 🐟

The highlight though? Drifting through the tiny Mekong canals in a traditional canoe surrounded by lush jungle… just magical 🌿✨

Vietnam, you already have our hearts ❤️

To help streamline and speed up the immigration process, foreign travellers and overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam are now required to complete a pre-arrival declaration when arriving internationally at:

• Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City)
• Phu Quoc International Airport
NEW: Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport

Who it applies to:
• All foreign passport holders entering at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), Phu Quoc International Airport & Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport
• Overseas Vietnamese travelling on a visa

Who it doesn’t apply to:
• Vietnamese passport holders
• Transit passengers

What to do:
Complete your declaration via:
https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/

Alternatively, scan the QR code at immigration on arrival.

Our recommendation:
Complete this shortly before departure to ensure a smooth arrival experience.
