Confession: I’ve never really been a matcha person 🍵 My husband, on the other hand, is obsessed😍

I actually got him a matcha set for his birthday. So when I found out Heer Pottery Heer pottery in Box Hill runs a matcha workshop, it felt like the obvious date idea and took him there for Fathers’ Day💁🏻‍♀️
Turns out there’s real technique to it! Different matcha grades, the right ratios, how it actually changes the taste. Not what I expected walking in.

If you’re after a date idea that isn’t just dinner + a movie, this is such an easy yes. Hands on, low key, and you leave with something to talk about.
