Photos don’t do justice to the tension in his veins or the way marble looks like living skin. Standing at the feet of Michelangelo’s David is one of those rare moments where the reality completely blows past the hype. 🤯🇮🇹

🏹 The cool part: Most people think he’s just posing, but he’s actually caught in pure panic/concentration right before fighting Goliath. Look closely at his right hand and you can see him gripping the stone, with the sling draped over his shoulder.
