One of the most commonly asked  questions that is talked about on wine tours and in cellar doors is what glasses you should consume wine from.

The general rule of thumb is that the more surface area on top of the glass the more air can get into the wine hence it opens up the bouquet and the liveliness of the wine in the glass.

So a quality wine glass like Riedel or Plumm are the best for size and value for money also. 

Small tastings glasses are perfectly okay to drink out of but it's hard to extract the perfumes of a fine wine from these small glasses. 

Always a great talking point but there are some great quality glasses at amazing prices on the market.
