Diamond Bay is a diamond indeed - lovely horseshoe shaped bay on the back beach of Blairgowrie and one of the safer options for family beach days on the Bass Strait side of the peninsula. But if you want patrolled beaches, swim at Sorrento back beach or Portsea back beach.

Diamond Bay is a hidden gem along Sorrento Back Beach and a superb coastal walk for a Spring afternoon.

Summer is coming! Time to book a holiday on the Mornington Peninsula. Daisy Cottage is a lovely family home in 10 minutes walk of Rye 16th Ocean Beach - room for 8, nestled in a private garden setting, with a sun soaked deck and light filled home.

This shows the local area and our Airbnb home. The beautiful 16th Beach and the national park is at the end of our street. The beach, sand dunes and local coffee shop are all about 10 minutes walk and the national park with its walking track that goes from Portsea to Flinders is about 5 minutes from our home.
