Let’s do this 💪🏽

It’s all go at Tooradin boat ramp in Western Port where upgrade works are well underway.

Three weeks into construction, excavators are on site undertaking earthworks before the existing three-lane ramp is completely renewed. The upgraded facility will feature extended ramps, each with grooved surfaces.

The ageing pontoons will be replaced too, and made longer, so more boats can tie up while skippers park trailers.

The entrance lane is also being widened from one lane to two to help ease congestion and improve traffic flow.

Works are due for completion before snapper season kicks off in spring 2026.

A little bit of a milestone on Friday

Mocca in AKW409 hit one million kilometres.

This truck was brand new in 2017.
In Moccas words “it’s original and completely untouched”.…we’ll just go with that…

It’s a great achievement for a one driver, one truck set up.

This 409 has really been a great truck. It’s been everywhere and done everything.
Looking forward to racking up another million.

Another year, another run.
Congratulations to our legend Almas for completing another Herald Sun Run for the Kids.
1.3 million dollars raised this year going to the Royal Children’s Hospital for the Good Friday Appeal.
This is the 20th year this event has been run and they’ve hit a milestone mark with raising 25 million dollars.
Congrats to all of the 30k odd participants this year.
