Pick up in Fitzroy and a trip to Dandenong ranges.
Our private tour guide created a custom tour. A hike through Sherbrooke forest and surrounds looking for lyrebirds and rosellas. Lunch at prosepina bakehouse and a train ride through the ranges on Puffing Billy Railway. On the way home we will meet up with some of the local Roos and maybe a local vineyard.

Saturday was one of them.
Walking the timber streets of Sovereign Hill, listening to stories from the gold rush, then standing in Ballarat as the light softened.
Coming home to Melbourne with Monash International Students for the Explore Victoria series reminded me how much you can learn just by showing up and looking around.
