Cruising the Rhine with CroisiEurope, finishing in beautiful Basel — and what an unforgettable journey it was.

There’s something special about slowing down and seeing Europe from the river. Our October cruise took us through some truly amazing destinations, including Amsterdam, Cologne, Koblenz, Rüdesheim, Heidelberg, Strasbourg and Basel.

October was the perfect time to experience the incredible autumn colours along the Rhine, with the vineyards and riverside towns glowing in shades of gold, red and orange. We were also lucky enough to catch the beginning of the Christmas market season, adding an extra touch of magic to the trip.

The pace was wonderfully relaxed, giving us time to explore each destination without feeling rushed, then return to the comfort of the ship and watch the scenery drift by.
