I’m Liz, the founder of Latte Mama and this is my little wingman and slice of inspiration. I worked as a PA for a Judge for a three years before I went on maternity leave. Back in the days of breastfeeding, during my many 3am feeds, flicking through social media, I was constantly being inspired by all the small biz mamas & mummy bloggers. Juggling mum life, work life, and home life........ 😉 and I

thought if I could work to help anyone I would want to help other mama’s working on their fun and exciting projects & dreams - because everyone knows how valuable an extra set of hands are when there are little ones ruling your world. I wanted to provide something that is more affordable, more flexible and a little easier than hiring onsite staff. I also realised that the two hours travel I would have to do to go back to my old job are precious hours I could be with my little babe, put into working on my own dreams and into helping other mama's building their empires!

The secret to building a successful biz on Instagram isn’t a bigger audience, it’s a better one.

Stop obsessing over follower count and start paying attention to who’s actually there.
 A small, engaged community will always outperform a big, quiet one.

Word of mouth is still one of the most powerful marketing tools you have. And it doesn’t come from going viral, it comes from trust.

When people trust you, they buy from you. When they buy from you, they talk about you.
 When they talk about you, your business grows, organically.

So if your followers aren’t buying, it’s not a reach problem.
 It’s a connection problem.

Stop asking “what’s the best time to post?”
 It’s the laziest piece of social media advice on the internet.

Because the best time to post is when your audience is actually scrolling, not when a generic chart tells you to.

If your target audience is mums: ❌ 3:30pm: they’re in the school pickup chaos ❌ 6pm: t’s dinner, baths, homework, meltdown s**t show. ✅ Try (very) early mornings, or after bedtime scroll hours

If your target audience is 9–5 boss babes: ❌ Middle of the workday when they’re in meetings or deadlines ✅ Lunch breaks, commute scrolls, or the post-work couch scroll

If your target audience is dads: 😂 Post whenever. They’ll see it. (Joking….kind of)

Posting times aren’t magic. Understanding people is.

Stop following generic advice and start posting when your audience actually has the headspace to engage.
