For the day itself, send the group this: we board at Docklands Sunset Point, 179 Harbour Esplanade, on the corner of La Trobe Street. Southern Cross Station is a 5-minute walk, Tram 70 runs from Flinders Street, and there is parking at 370 and 401 Docklands Drive.

Bringing kids? Under-18s are welcome with a parent or legal guardian. You will also get a text from us 24 hours before, confirming the cruise.

Kingfisher II is a two-level catamaran with indoor and outdoor areas, so you can sit down to eat and still step out on deck when the light starts to go.

Dinner, drinks and entertainment are all in the ticket price, so on the night the main decision is where to sit.

For that, you can request a window table for an extra $15 per person, subject to availability. Vegan, gluten free and dairy free meals can be arranged if you let us know at booking.

High Tea on the Sea works for two as easily as it does for a group. An anniversary, a birthday, or an afternoon out together where nobody has to plan the food.

You book per person, on select Saturdays and Sundays, from $119 each. Savoury canapés, sandwiches, scones, desserts and free-flowing sparkling w**e, tea and coffee are all included.

High Tea on the Sea is a two-hour afternoon cruise from Docklands, with the food and drinks included in the ticket.

The route takes you through Victoria Harbour and along the Yarra River, then out past Williamstown and Hobsons Bay.

Daylight saving starts on Sunday, pushing Melbourne's sunset past 7 pm and a little later each evening.

Our Sunset Dinner Cruise is 3½ hours on Kingfisher II, past the Bolte and West Gate Bridges and along the Williamstown waterfront. Dinner is a two-course buffet from the onboard chef, with b**r, w**e and soft drinks included the whole way.
