Big news: Eddie just made Aussie ballooning history! 🇦🇺
He’s officially the youngest Australian gas balloon pilot - and we couldn’t be prouder! 👏
Wait… gas balloon? Not the same as hot air?
💡Here’s the lowdown:
🔥 Hot air balloons (like the ones we fly in Melbourne, Yarra Valley & Mansfield) use fire to heat air, making the balloon rise.
🎈 Gas balloons? No fire - they use helium or hydrogen to lift off. Think super stealthy, ultra-light, long-distance flying machines.
Both are incredible. But gas ballooning is rare, extreme, and seriously cool. And Eddie just joined that exclusive club. 🏆

We operate sunrise flights all year round - even in chilly July!�Meeting time? 6 - 6:30am. Which, in ballooning world, basically means brunch.
Australia’s most liveable city? You bet it is - it’s Melbourne (again) baby. 🥹
No opera house, no giant bridge… but we’ve got hot air balloons gliding over skyscrapers at sunrise.
And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.
