Well first week of recover is done, this is as close to the boat as he can get at the moment. Sling for a few more weeks. Pete thanks everyone for the text and calls checking on him, he hopes to be back to work as soon as he can but it can only be if we can have two staff members on the boat with him at all times which maybe be hard to coordinate but we are working on that

From yesterdays charters we had Megan with her 42cm whiting, the morning certainty produced some great whiting and flathead along with the Port Jackson that went back into the water. Our afternoon charter also had some nice flathead caught. WE still have some spots available on Tuesday our last trips for a few weeks so if you want to get out knows the time to book in.

Nice flathead caught by Willem yesterday coming in at 48cm, baby gummy also caught and released back to grow so more. Don't forgot this is Pete's last weekend out on the water while he takes a quick break to have his shoulder repaired, so if you want to get out this weekend please book in to the spots left

Some nice sized flathead caught, and a shellfish with a difference that came up. With Mother nature being all over the place wind wise at the moment its anyone guess what we will actually get.

Parliament is refusing to acknowledge the 22,000+ signature petition organised by Change .org against the termination of Fisheries officers job. It is demanding only a petition on the official Parliamentary form will be accepted.

Something a bit different from yesterdays charter once we were able to get out when the winds died down. Nothing like a bit of tree and some sea urchins attached to it to come up on the end of someone's line.
