Hidden Secrets Tours are the original laneways tours of Melbourne. We love to share the City that locals use, rather than the main tourist monuments. This contemporary team of tour hosts have designed options for travellers and locals - not just 'tourists', focusing on experiencing the city and all the local design talent that exists in Australia's creative hub with information that's more current

than a guide book! Half day tours are offered for first time and repeat visitors, to enjoy the life and soul of the city that's often missed. By design Melbourne is a spectacular city to walk, so most itineraries are focussed on the city centre. Meet the independent store owners and local characters, indulge in the cafe culture, enjoy the diversity of cuisine and find the best designer shopping that only Melbourne can provide! Tour group sizes are kept to a maximum of 8 to maintain an intimate experience, and will run with a minimum of 2 people on scheduled tour days. Food, art, fashion and w**e mixed with a little history and architectural treasures. Indulge yourself in the cultural essence of Melbourne with these must do experiences.

Today as Spring arrives in Australia, we celebrate the 1000 plus species of wattle. It is our national emblem and shines yellow. The Wurundjeri have seasons of Guling (orchid) and Poorneet (tadpole) through August to October, welcoming the wattle and later the yellow Yam daisy..🌼 We hope you found some sunny wattle today. - 📷 thanks Parks Victoria

It’s been a week since those wonderful blooms at Rialto Melbourne for Cancer Council Victoria , such a lovely sight for an important cause. We hope to see the team back again next year, and will wear our daffodil pins with pride.

What an exciting addition to Degraves and so delicious. Have you touched down at MOON yet? The new store has landed and opened and we love the aesthetic as much as the crullers. Crispy rings of deep fried choux pastry glazed with flavour.

A lovely mid week lunch with some of the Hidden Secrets Tours guides. First stop was was the lunch special Farmer’s Daughters W**e House which was delicious. Second stop was coffee + cake Dame Melbourne always a delight. 💛

The Block Arcade’s fabulous mosaic floor crafted in 1892 made entirely by handmade Italian tiles remain remarkably well preserved. But like all good things occasionally we need some maintenance.
Our guide Joy was lucky enough today to watch the process of replacing some damaged tiles.
The heritage listed mosaic is carefully preserved and gets a polish each morning before the arcade opens. 🩵
