12 years ago we had the opportunity to take our tour business from the market in Footscray Rd to the newest wholesale market in the southern hemisphere in Epping.
It’s been a journey!
With only 2 months to go before we finish up our tours in Epping, it seems a good time to share some of those sunrises we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I will miss them😉🧡

Heads up….news about our tours!

We’ve been coming into the market, hosting tours for over 20 years, the past 16 with our small business, C the Market. It’s time for a re-set for me so October 31st 2026 will be the last tour we will offer at the Melbourne Wholesale Market in Epping. It’s been an amazing opportunity for me, working at and promoting the markets but definitely one I couldn’t have done half as well without the continued support of the traders and users of the market.
We have several tours coming up but also have space if you or someone you know wants to use our tour service.
For anyone holding a gift certificate or tour credit, please get in touch. These will finally expire on 31st Oct

We’ve been at the market less over the past couple of months, spending each weekend doing Mushroom Foraging Workshops in Macedon. Big thank you to our mushroom guru/foraging partner, Richard Ford at . Til next year!

We’ve been missing our traders in the F&V areas. Lately it’s all been about the flower market. Big weekend for Mother’s Day and lots of floristry student groups coming on tour.
Still offering group & Private tours thru the whole market. We’ll catch up with everyone else soon!

Our annual Autumn Mushroom Foraging Workshops are underway in the fabulous region. We’re glad to be part of their Autumn Festival and will continue our workshop sessions through to the end of May, if the weather does all the right mushroomy things. Thanks to Richard at Auswildmushrooms, we’re in good hands!

The seasons are starting to change and we’re seeing some new arrivals. Persimmons just started and today our school group on tour got to try a new variety of rambutan. As always, our traders welcome visitors & make sure the kids get lots of samples!

2026 is looking like a year where we’ll focus more on our Private business/consulting tours.
We help those investigating new possibilities at the market, in fruits & vegetables but also flowers.
With nearly 20 years attending Melbourne Market and a comprehensive network of traders to introduce clients to, we’re looking forward to continuing our busy schedule.
Thursday’s tour was in the Flower Market.

Started back for the new year with a Private tour earlier in the week. Always a lot of interest for exporting our fabulous stone fruits. 2026, no exception. Love a tasting or two along the way too!

As we get toward the end of the year, our tours are slowing down….still 2 Saturday Flower tours scheduled to go…but we remain available for any last minute Private tour bookings this side of Xmas. Get in touch if you think we can help.
