Spacious is proud to announce the official opening of Mercure Hotel Melbourne La Trobe Street on 10 March.

Located at 492 La Trobe Street, West Melbourne VIC 3003, Australia, the hotel sits just moments from Melbourne’s CBD.

From the commencement of construction on 22 May 2024, to completion on 18 February 2026, and now its official opening, this project has been a journey defined by commitment and care. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

The 18 storey hotel features 195 rooms, along with The Foundry on Level 6 — a restaurant and bar offering delicious dining and a balcony space where guests can relax and take in the city views. A 24-hour fitness centre is also available for guests to enjoy at any time.

We warmly welcome you to stay with us and experience comfort, convenience, and your own moment of relaxation in the heart of Melbourne.

This Tuesday, June 10, we celebrated the Topping Out Ceremony of Mercure Hotel Flagstaff at 488 La Trobe Street, West Melbourne.

Spacious Group would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us to mark this exciting milestone. Your presence made the event truly special.

This moment represents a major step forward in the journey of this landmark project, and we are deeply grateful for the continued support and collaboration from our incredible project partners:

On Sunday, December 24th, 2024, the Spacious Group, in collaboration with the Chinese Museum, hosted a charity event titled The Way of the Brush. A total of 11 families, approximately 60 people, joined us for this special occasion, and a total of $5,000 was donated.

The event was led by Angela, the Director of Spacious, who taught the children from each family how to practice traditional Chinese calligraphy and write couplets. The goal was to celebrate the Year of the Snake and raise funds for the Chinese Museum to help preserve its incredible cultural heritage for future generations.

Throughout the day, participants enjoyed learning Chinese calligraphy and exploring the museum. Additionally, there were delicious treats sponsored by David’s Hot Pot, including ice jelly and Sichuan cold noodles, which were a hit with both the adults and children. Many guests were delighted by these authentic Sichuan dishes and quickly became fans of this traditional Chinese cuisine.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to David‘s Hot Pot for generously sponsoring the delicious food, to the Chinese Museum for providing the venue and their invaluable support, and to each and every family and friend who attended. Your presence made the event truly special, and we are honored to have had you with us!！🫶🧧🩷
