Getting a barrel over 150 kg is something I have been waiting for, for a long time! but to get two in the one season is something special!

The power off this fish was something else, dumping 550m of line on the first run and pulling drag off the reel like it was nothing an hour in.

The best part about going out and getting a bite is not knowing how big it is, this is what makes us keep coming back 🐟🎣

Well that’s a wrap for our 2025 Portland Tuna Season! The weather has decided to turn and make it un fishable for the rest of the week.

What a season we have had!! A total of 33 barrels landed out of Portland, with the biggest going 162kg (fish of a life time, and biggest to date for myself)

The school tuna have been really good some days and hard on others!

We hope everyone had a great trip with us out of Portland this year, and look forward to doing it all again next year!

Anyone wanting to target a barrel locally in Melbourne, we will be opening up some dates in a couple weeks time 🎣
