Fipe Keanu will be bringing the grace of the pacific to Melbourne with regular hula dance classes to

Samoan/German artist Phoebe Preuss aka Fipe Keanu settled in Melbourne in 2008 after years of travel through Europe, Asia and Africa. This was an artistical journey that allowed her to explore various expressive forms. She spends her days working as a project and events coordinator, with experience in facilitating events in Australia, New Zealand and Samoa. She spends her nights playing with fire.

With her Pacific Island dance training Fipe is determined to pursue conscious connections with her cultural bloodline, Fipe shaped her creative expressions to reflect her life experiences. She is also a member of Nuholani Polynesian dance troupe and Aniva - spoken word | movement | voice

The 2019 Samoa measles outbreak began in October 2019 and is currently ongoing. As of December 3, there have been 55 deaths and over 3,000 cases in Samoa, mainly children under four years old, and 10 reported cases in Fiji. It is expected that 70 people will die and at least 6,500 people will be infected. Detailed in this flyer are supply drop off points here in Melbourne, please give what you can.
There is also Helping Hands an organisation ensuring food and supplies get to those children and families in need. Please look them up and donate. ❤️
