Okay, I’ll apologise in advance for the filming skills! 😂

But honestly, it would be a little remiss of us not to share a small snippet of what we get to see from the air on a beautiful Melbourne day like this.

Port Phillip Bay, the Mornington Peninsula and those incredible coastal views stretching out below you… it really does remind you just how lucky we are to call this part of Victoria home.

There’s something pretty special about seeing it from a helicopter. No traffic, no crowds, just incredible views and a completely different perspective of Melbourne.

So, grab your camera, bring someone special and come and grab your own views of this stunning part of Melbourne with us.🚁

We’ll worry about the flying… you can enjoy the view. 😉

Captain Obvious… 😳🌬️

Wow. Mother Nature has certainly come to Melbourne today!

It’s absolutely beautiful outside — blue skies, sunshine and the kind of day that makes you want to be up in the helicopter. ☀️🚁

But there’s a catch…

The forecast is calling for 42 knots (around 77 km/h) of wind on the ground today.

Unfortunately, that means we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel today’s flying.

I know that’s disappointing, especially for those of you who had plans with us today, and I’m genuinely sorry. But as much as we love getting people airborne, safety will always come first at Leisure Heli Tours.

Helicopters and strong winds are not a combination we take lightly. Sometimes Mother Nature simply gets the final say.

We’ll be back up there when she settles down. 🌤️🚁

Melbourne - there is no place better☀️🌦️🚁

The weather has been a little challenging of late, and today was no different! We started with beautiful sunshine, but as is traditionally Melbourne, the weather had other ideas. 🌦️

Thankfully, even without the sunshine, we were still able to deliver a magnificent helicopter experience down to the Bellarine Peninsula — complete with spectacular coastal views, great w**es and a wonderful lunch.
