A different kind of cruising adventure!

Our lovely clients are no strangers to cruising on larger ships, but their recent Pandaw river cruise along the Mekong through Vietnam and Cambodia offered something truly special!

With just 22 guests onboard, they loved the intimate atmosphere, personalised service and exceptional shore excursions – all included in their journey.

From discovering local communities to taking part in a meaningful tree-planting initiative, this was a wonderful opportunity to experience a different side of cruising.

We love seeing our clients embrace new travel experiences, and thank them for sharing these beautiful moments with us! 💙

After years of working together from opposite sides of the world, it was so lovely to finally meet the gorgeous Rosie from Vietnam Travel & Cruise (VTC) in person! 🇻🇳❤️

Rosie and I have worked together for many years, bringing my clients’ travels through Vietnam and Cambodia to life, and there’s something really special about finally meeting the people behind the scenes who help make it all happen.

And what better way to experience Hanoi than riding on the back of Rosie’s scooter through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter! 🛵

A fabulous day spent inspecting hotels, enjoying a delicious lunch and, of course, stopping at one of Hanoi’s most famous egg coffee cafés!

These relationships with my local partners are such an important part of what I do. Having trusted people on the ground who know their destinations inside out makes all the difference when creating memorable travel experiences for my clients.

Last year I sailed Norway’s coast on a Hurtigruten Signature voyage, and it remains one of the most incredible travel experiences I’ve had. I’ve added some of my own photos here, although they still don’t quite capture the scale of those fjords and snow-covered mountains!

What made the voyage special was the mix of spectacular scenery and everyday life along the coast. We stopped in small towns I might never have visited otherwise, and one of my favourite days was riding quad bikes through the snow towards the North Cape.

I loved coming back on board, too. The service was lovely, and the dining was incredible. It was such a comfortable way to experience this part of Norway while still feeling connected to the places we visited.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a destination by rail 🚆

You can sit back, relax and actually enjoy the journey — watching landscapes unfold outside your window rather than simply getting from A to B.

And rail travel has come a long way. With comfortable seating, dining cars, panoramic windows and premium options on many journeys, it can really elevate the traditional touring experience. Better still, trains can meander through spectacular scenery and reach places you simply don’t experience in quite the same way by road.

From the mountains and lakes of Canada and Alaska to Europe’s great rail routes, the landscapes of Asia, New Zealand and our own Australian outback, there are so many incredible ways to build rail into a holiday.

What a way to wrap up another TravelManagers conference! ✨

Hobart turned on the sunshine for a fantastic few days of connection, learning and plenty of laughs with fellow Personal Travel Managers, our National Partnership Office team and our wonderful supplier partners.

From workshops and the latest industry news and updates, to our trade fair connecting one-on-one with key travel partners, conference is always a valuable few days to step away from the day-to-day and come home with fresh knowledge, ideas and connections to bring back into my business — and ultimately, the trips I plan for my clients.

One of the things I love most about TravelManagers is the community behind the scenes. We may each run our own businesses, but there’s an incredible network of people, expertise and support around us.

And next year… Manila! 🇵🇭 Even more special as 2027 will mark my 10 years with TravelManagers. I think that calls for a pretty good celebration! 🥂
