With the wind and the helmet on and the idle bike revving it was hard.

A beautiful morning in the Hanle, Day 9 of our Himalayan ride, motorcycles lined up and cleaned with the majestic mountain in the backdrop, before we tackle the mighty Umling la pass.

A beast of the mountain pass 5000m+ and the stillness before the throttle opens and we face nothing but the open Himalayan trails again on our adventure ride.

Some roads don’t just take you somewhere.
They rearrange you.

Pangong Lake has a way of doing that.

One of those rare stretches where the mountains lean in, the water stays impossibly still, and the only sound left is the low thrum of engines and the wind in your helmet.

No schedule. No rush. Just a handful of riders, a curve that keeps revealing more of that same impossible blue, and the quiet understanding that this is why you came.
