The Short-tailed Shearwater, or Muttonbird, makes an extraordinary journey each Spring.

From lands around the Behring Sea including far-Eastern Russia and Alaska, they fly all the way down to the Southern Australian coastline, including the spectacular Phillip Island.

They return to the exact same burrow and raise just one single chick.

It's one of the great journeys that makes Phillip Island even more of an amazing destination.
