Just a quick update from me, ( Cecilia) ….I got out of rehab a week ago. I stopped at Bims, until Sunday and then he drove me home. It’s certainly been a very trying time. Learning to walk again , learning to deal with pain and medications. When to have them, what dosages, how to control the flair up pains.
This is because I ended up having 2 operations the first was a microdiscectomy on my L4:L5 followed by a back fusion on the same area, using my bone, grafted from my left hip and that of a cadaver popped into my back with pins and screws to keep in place.
So, no I haven’t been at work. I have been on large doses of heavy pain killers and basically relying on friends to help me through it all.
As I start to get better, both in my head space and body, I’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter.
Let’s hope the Easter Bunny finds you all. Hoping to be back in the office by mid April, it maybe a few hours a day, I’ll just have to see how I’m feeling. I still have a long way to go. But slowly does it, I’m sure!
