The Coasters have passed the Nine Standards Rigg being the summit point of Hartley Fell. The origin of the standards is unknown, with some saying that were built during the Roman times as military markers. What have you heard about them?

Laurie and the Athletica team have called in from Ioribawa. Big thunderstorms last night have made the track muddy and slow going. Everyone is travelling really well and just "getting on with it".

The UK Coasters walked into Kirkby Stephens today. Some blue skies along the way but how about those beautiful stone walls and bridges! They are just amazing! Dinner at The Taggy Man! Obviously the owners would remember the GT team from last year.....

Our July 21 Kokoda team from Athletica have left The Stanley Hotel & Suites and are now at Bomana Cemetery. They will spend some time there before heading to Owers Cnr to start their journey. Step carefully everyone!

A shorter day for our Coasters today, walking 17km from Shap to Orton. The countryside is just stunning!

It has been a couple of big days for Mike and the Coasters! They have arrived into Shap and that makes them about a third of the way through.

Noel took every opportunity she could to try and keep in contact with her luggage that had decided to take the scenic route to the UK from the US. After many calls and follow ups they were finally reunited!
