Andy and his trusty mate Michael popped in Friday to do some more fine tuning with the forge,this is a small video of how we got along at end of day, i can't thank this guy enough, all done from the kindness and passion in his heart, Michael is in the same mould too!
Its just great to see those Bellows working, with a bit more fine tuning they'll blow a bit more, great heat being created now though! So Happy is me!😁😁😁😁🗡️⚔️🧲

As one of the oldest towns in South Australia, Melrose is steeped in rich history and Bluey Blundstones is no exception. Built in 1865 by Bluey Blundstone, the property originally served as one of the town’s three blacksmith shops. The Blundstone family’s blacksmith shop provided for the mounted police force and wider community up until 1914.

Now, Blueys continues to be a family owned business and with a passion for history and appreciation of the beautiful Southern Flinders Ranges, we’re committed to providing affordable, unique heritage accommodation. As a family we have travelled throughout regional Australia and aim to bring the elements that we’ve enjoyed into the accommodation we provide.

Melrose is one of the lesser known jewels of the Southern Flinders Ranges and we hope our guests enjoy this unique property and the opportunity to take a step back in time as much as we do.
