This Queensland Bottle Tree (Brachychiton repestris) is bottling in the Bushfoods Garden at the Melton Botanic Garden.
Will be a large spectacular asset to the garden one day. It was planted in 2016.

Eucalyptus brandiana is a mallet to 5m tall with smooth bark, large thick leaves, and large winged reddish flower-buds and fruit, lacking a lignotuber. It has huge leathery leaves. See it at the Melton Botanic Garden.

Unfortunately, due to the storm last Friday a number of exceptional trees where damaged across the City of Melton. Here are some 40 year old trees blown out of the ground at the Melton Botanic Garden. An Ironbark, a Yellow Box and a Corymbia maculata were just some of them.
