To celebrate NAIDOC Week we are excited to share with you a new artist here at The Merimbula Visitor Information Centre.

Alison Walker is a Yuin/Djiringjan woman who grew up in Wallaga Lake. We are excited to be able to showcase her artworks in centre and have them available to you to take home. All of Alison’s artworks are original and are full of colour!

Kayak up the Pambula River for an indigenous narrative of fungi. The kayak journey starts early at the stunning Pambula River Mouth and then you will travel up through the Beowa National Park. Come ashore and explore the local fungi that is in the area followed by morning tea. Navigate Expeditions

NEW Fungi Movie in Merimbula – Saturday 28 June, 7.00pm
Head to the Picture Showman in Merimbula for a NEW amazing fungi film – this year its Merlin Sheldrake’s Fungi: The Web of Life, featuring Stephen Axford’s time lapse photography. Following the screening a Q&A with fungi scientist Assoc. Prof. Jonathan Plett from Western Sydney University’s Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment.

It's that time of year again, the weather is getting cooler and it has you reaching for your winter woolies!

We are excited to share with you our 2025 Merimbula jumpers now available for Pre Order! We decided to move away from the hoodies this year (but we have some super snazzy Merimbula Beanies if you need to keep your head warm!)

The magic of Panboola Wetlands.
