Pop into the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre to buy your sqaure (cash only) You do NOT need to be in Merimbula to collect, we can deposit direct to you!

We will draw the winners once all squares are sold!

There's something rather lovely about the coast in spring.

The beaches are beautiful, the weather can be perfect for exploring, and there's room to find your own little patch of paradise.

Bar Beach is a favourite for its sheltered lake setting, while Merimbula Main Beach serves up that classic stretch of sand and ocean.

Pack a picnic, bring the family or simply wander until you find your happy place.

Be honest: are you swimming, walking along the sand or sitting in the sun supervising everyone else?

Some walks are about smashing your step count. Others are about slowing down, enjoying the view and pretending you haven't checked your phone in three hours.

The Merimbula Boardwalk is a lovely way to enjoy the lake and spot some of the local birdlife along the way.

It's a great option for a relaxed morning before heading into town for a coffee or something delicious.

Just remember to check current track access before you head out.

Whale watching season is here, and the locals are getting some seriously impressive visitors.

Spring is a wonderful time to keep your eyes on the ocean around Merimbula, with humpback whales migrating along the coast.

You might spot a blow, a tail slap or even a spectacular breach. No promises from the whales, of course. They're not exactly known for sticking to a schedule.

Make a weekend of it and explore the coastline while you're here.

Imagine families lining the lake, visitors counting down to midnight, and fireworks lighting up the sky as we welcome another year on the Sapphire Coast.

Now imagine being part of making it happen.

We're looking for local businesses to help sponsor Merimbula's New Year's Eve fireworks. It's a fantastic opportunity to support our community, help create a memorable experience for locals and visitors, and show your support for one of our region's most loved celebrations.

We have TWO hundreds boards here at The Merimbula Visitor Information Centre!

$10 a square WIN $200

$20 a square WIN $500 PLUS first 50 squares sold will receive a $10 boss outdoor voucher!

Pop into the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre between 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday or 10am - 2pm on the weekends to be in the running.

Cash only. Winners will be drawn once all squares are sold OR on the 24th of December (whichever comes first)

100% funds raised goes towards the Merimbula New Years Eve Fireworks!
