Five minutes from Berry. A little further from your usual routine.

Meet Wood Farm, the newest arrival to the Wandering collection, tucked into the green folds of Bundewallah.

You’ve already met a few of the residents. Beyond their paddock, 82 acres of countryside, established gardens and Bundewallah Creek give this escape a rhythm of its own.

Head into Berry for coffee, browse a little longer than intended and pick up something good for dinner. Then take the country road home. Close enough to duck back into town for whatever you forgot. Far enough away to decide it can wait.

Here, there’s room to gather and room to wander off. A country kitchen for cooking together, French doors opening onto the courtyard, and a covered dining pavilion with a wood-fired oven that makes a convincing case for eating in. Finish with a soak in the spa, or settle beside the wood fire when the evening cools.

Three king bedrooms, two bathrooms and countryside beyond the windows. Bring the family, make a weekend of it with friends, and leave a few gaps in the itinerary.

In Currarong, the beach gets you out of the house. The bush brings you back.

Tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac, She-Oak Dwellers looks out into native bushland, with its namesake trees keeping it company. Inside, warm timber, soft linens and sunlight give the place an ease that makes unpacking feel like settling in.
